This was our very first construction project in tropical Costa Rica! We built a beautiful custom home in the famous Pacifico development, located in Playas del Coco (Coco Beach), Guanacaste. We built this home in a Spanish Colonial style with tropical inspiration and some local charm. It has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a ton of open space all on one level, making it easily accessible by all. It features a large open concept kitchen full of custom cabinetry, endless countertop space and a glorious breakfast bar peninsula, as well as a sunken living room with a 17-foot vaulted ceiling and exposed exotic wood beams. The master bedroom shows great detail with a coffered ceiling, walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom featuring a roman spa tub that was custom made on site, built right into the turret showing impeccable and breath-taking design.
With ceiling height no less than 10 feet at any point of the house, 2 of the 3 bedrooms backing onto the large terrace and infinity pool, and a 12-foot section of sliding glass pocket doors to offer the true indoor/outdoor living experience, this house takes huge advantage of natural sunlight as well as the majestic Pacific Ocean breeze. With the further inclusion of a double car garage, this custom home stands with a total of 2852 square feet of space to enjoy.
